slenderbodies Release Two New Dreamy Singles “plastic parts” & “chamomile” [Listen/Watch]
Indie-pop duo slenderbodies have released two new singles, “plastic parts” and “chamomile.”
The duo – comprised of Ben Barsochinni and Aram “Max” Vehuni – continue their familiar airy falsetto vocals and catchy melodies in the two new tracks. “plastic parts” takes on a slower pace with hushed lyrics, hazy keys, and bouncy synths. Its counterpart “chamomile” is a whole minute shorter at just two and half minutes, spanning into a more sultry R&B rhythm. The chorus kicks up the beat with distorted, echoing vocals and dripping, syncopated keys. While chamomile tea is usually calming, the duo’s take adds some upbeat spice to the mix.
