The Head And The Heart Announce North American Tour & Forthcoming Album, Release New Single “Every Shade Of Blue” [Listen/Watch]

This has been a big week for fans of The Head and the Heart. Shortly after releasing their title track and accompanying music video this morning, the Seattle-based sextet announced that their forthcoming fifth studio album, Every Shade of Blue, will drop April 29th.

“Every Shade of Blue” marks the folk-rock group’s first new music release in nearly three years following 2019’s Living Mirage.

“‘Every Shade of Blue’ conveys a spectrum of emotions and how we live with them. The closer we get the more shades we see. The more shades we see the more responsibility we hold. We all want to feel loved and protected. The question is will we be supported and seen by the ones we love in Every Shade Of Blue,” vocalist and guitarist Jonathan Russell posted.

The album announcement follows the group’s news earlier this week announcing they’ll be hitting the road on May 20th after a two-and-a-half-year touring hiatus.

Special guests Dawes, Shakey Graves, and Jade Bird will join the tour in select cities.

“We’re so excited to bring new songs to life on stage every night, traveling alongside artists who inspire us,” the band said in a press statement. “We can’t wait to get out there, doing what we do with an even greater sense of gratitude.”
