Foo Fighters Cancel All 2022 Tour Dates
In light of Foo Fighters’ drummer Taylor Hawkins recent passing, the band has announced the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates.
“We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned,” the band wrote. “Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.” Find the statement below.
The band was in the midst of a South American tour when Hawkins passed away on March 25th, just hours before they were set to perform at Festival Estéreo Picnic. The band was scheduled to headline New Orleans, LA’s Jazz Festival Weekend One at the end of April alongside The Who and embark on the North American leg of their tour in May, headlining arenas throughout the U.S. and Canada through October, including Salt Lake City, UT’s USANA Amphitheatre on August 8th.
