Remembering Charlie Watts: Paul McCartney, Bill Kreutzmann, The Who, More Pay Tribute
The music world lost one of its most iconic and greatest drummers this week with the death of The Rolling Stones’ Charlie Watts. According to his publicist, the founding drummer passed away peacefully on August 24th surrounded by his family. Watts was 80 years old.
Having played for the band for over 50 years, Watts greatly influenced the career of The Rolling Stones and shaped the music industry over the decades with his blazing musicianship.
