Denzel Curry Announces 2022 World Tour, Shares Forthcoming Album Lead Single & Music Video “Walkin'” [Watch/Listen]

Denzel Curry has announced a spring and summer 2022 world tour. In addition to his big news, the Miami-based rapper has shared the lead single “Walkin’” from his forthcoming album, Melt My Eyez See Your Future.

“Walkin’” sees Curry pouring his heart out through his usual introspective lyrics and balanced rhymes. The accompanying Adrian Villagomez-produced sci-fi Western music video shows the rapper strolling through a dust-filled desert. Watch the official music video below.

“I like traditional hip-hop; I like drum and bass; I like trap; I like poetry, so a lot of that is going to be interwoven in this album including jazz and a lot of genres that I came up on as a kid and just being in my parents’ house,” Curry said in a press statement. “This album is made up of everything that I couldn’t give you on Ta13oo or Imperial because I was going through depression anger issues.”

Curry will set off on his three-month world tour on April 1st at Denver, CO’s Mission Ballroom. From there, he’ll head West and headline Salt Lake City, UT’s The Complex on April 2nd. The rapper will conclude his first leg of his U.S. tour at both weekends of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 17th and April 24th before embarking on his European dates throughout all of May. He’ll return to the U.S. with a performance at Bonnaroo on June 17th, circling nine additional dates for a tour closer at Phoenix, AZ’s The Van Buren on July 1st.
