Yola Announces 2022 ‘Stand For Myself’ Headlining Tour Dates

Yola has announced an extensive 2022 U.S. headlining tour in support of her genre-blending sophomore album, Stand For Myself.

While the British-born singer earned four Grammy nominations after her breakthrough 2019 debut album Walk Through Fire, she emerges through her next musical sequence storytelling the journey of reclaiming her power and being true to herself.

Produced by Dan Auerbach, Stand For Myself sonically blends Yola’s diverse range of symphonic soul and classic pop. Her awe-striking vocals walks the listener through her journey of finding friendship and reclaiming her black feminine power, all wrapped up in verses relating to vulnerability, collective awakening, and feelings of love.

After a year of being stuck in live event purgatory like the rest of the world, Yola has struck 2021 with a bang with a sling of live performances supporting Chris Stapleton. The remainder of the year will see her own set of headlining performances, including sets at Newport Folk, Newport Jazz, and a debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The new year’s momentum will follow, as she anticipates hitting the road in February 2022 for a four-month headlining tour, including a two-night run at Nashville, TN’s Ryman Auditorium on March 3-4th and Salt Lake City, UT’s The Depot on April 5th. Jac Ross and Nick Connors will offer rotating support on her 2022 tour dates.

“Considering how much fun we’ve had playing Stand For Myself live on these returning summer shows, I cannot wait to get out on the road in February and see all of your beautiful faces as we play songs from this record and more,” Yola said in a statement.
