Travis Scott ‘Utopia’ Billboards Spotted In California
Billboards promoting Travis Scott’s new forthcoming album Utopia have been spotted on California’s Interstate 10 highway.
Photos posted on Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation Instagram account yesterday showed the billboards stating, “PSST…Looking For Utopia? Wrong Way!” The billboards are on the side of the highway where drivers are traveling away from Indio, CA where the upcoming Coachella Music & Arts Festival is scheduled for the next two weekends, suggesting that the “right” way to Utopia is heading to the festival. The post even tagged Coachella as the location.
Scott was booked to headline Coachella’s 2020 rendition which was later canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He wasn’t originally on the 2022 lineup but was scheduled to join previous headliner Kanye West onstage. Since West pulled his performance, it’s assumed that Scott’s appearance would be as well. Or is it?
Scott was promoting Utopia last summer and fall, having released the two new singles “Escape Plan” and “Mafia” but eminently stopped following the deaths of 10 fans at his Astroworld Festival in November. Now that the rapper has addressed the tragedy and launched his new community-focused philanthropy initiative, Project HEAL, it might be time for Scott to start his promotion again and perform live.
At this time, there isn’t any verified information regarding the release date of Utopia.
