The War On Drugs Release Third Single “Change” Ahead Of Forthcoming Album [Listen]

The War On Drugs have released the new single “Change” ahead of their forthcoming album, I Don’t Live Here Anymore, due out this Friday.

“Change” marks the six-piece indie-rock band’s third single release of the year following “Living Proof” and forthcoming album titular track “I Don’t Live Here Anymore” featuring Lucius. Sitting at just over six minutes, “Change” strikes up with a shimmering guitar melody and bouncy percussion beat before lead vocalist Adam Granduciel’s soulful lyrics kick in. The single is packed full of emotive and reflective verses touched with the band’s classic edgy and easy-listening sound. A piano bridge carries listeners between the two verses while echoing guitar chords and the backing piano close off the tune.

Listen to “Change” below.
