The Unlikely Candidates Announce 2022 Winter West Coast Tour
The Unlikely Candidates have announced a winter 2022 West coast tour with The Criticals.
Currently out on an October nationwide tour, the alternative-rock mavericks will hit the road again on the first day of the new year for a series of shows throughout the Western half of the country. The five piece – comprised of vocalist Kyle Morris, guitarists Brenton Carney and Cole Male, drummer Kevin Goddard, and bassist Jared Hornbeek – will kick off their 2022 performances at Roswell, NM’s The Liberty on January 1st, continuing throughout Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho before headlining Salt Lake City, UT’s Soundwell on January 18th. From there, the band will finish their winter tour with three performances in Colorado.
Earlier this year, The Unlikely Candidates released the new single “Gemini,” marking the band’s first and only original release since 2020’s “High Low.” The band currently has three EPs releases, including 2016’s Follow My Feet, 2017’s Bed Of Liars, and 2018’s Danger To Myself. After several one-off single releases, it seems that its only a matter of time before we see another EP or even a full debut album release.
Tickets to The Unlikely Candidates’ headlining show at SLC’s Soundwell on January 18th can be found here. Visit the band’s website for a full list of upcoming tour dates and additional information.
