The Black Crowes Extend 2022 ‘Shake Your Money Maker’ 30th Anniversary Tour

The Black Crowes have extended their 2022 Shake Your Money Maker tour, which will see the band travel across North America celebrating 30 years of their 1990 debut album of the same name.

After playing a trio of May festivals, including Stagecoach, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and the Napa Valley Expo, The Black Crowes will set off on a 34-date summer tour, kicking off on June 9th at Fort Lauderdale, FL’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. From there, the band will work through most of the southern U.S. before heading up to the Northeast in June and July. The band will continue playing throughout the Midwest and Canada before heading down to the Western part of the U.S. in July and August where the band will headline Salt Lake City, UT on August 17th. The venue is yet to be determined.

Promising to perform the album in full along with “all the hits” on each tour date, The Black Crowes will also offer all ticket holders purchased via Ticketmaster a free, exclusive NFT tour poster, marking Ticketmaster’s first artist NFT partnership.

“Our focus is a real high energy, guitar-driven rock ‘n’ roll show,” Chris Robinson told UCR around the tour’s announcement. “There’s not a lot of that in the world. We don’t have in-ear monitors and digital fucking amps. And amps in boxes on trucks behind the stage. You know what I mean? We’re pushing some air up there. I think that’s the excitement of rock ‘n’ roll.”
