State Champs Unveil Lo-fi Version Of 2015 Anthem “Secrets” [Listen]
State Champs have unleashed a Lo-fi version of their 2015 single, “Secrets.”
Out today via Pure Noise Lofi Volume 2, the pop-rock five-piece set down their high energy angsty anthem and replaced it with three and a half minutes of easy-listening, sonic landscapes. The band recruited Lo-fi producer Less Gravity to remake the track though ambient channels, highlighted through a soft piano melody, sparkling percussion, and atmospheric synths. “Secrets (Lo-Fi)” marks the band’s second Lo-fi cover ever released, following this year’s reworked 2013 track “Elevated.”
