SLC Twilight Concert Series Announces 2022 Lineup: Rainbow Kitten Surprise, The Decemberists, More
The Salt Lake City Arts Council and S&S Presents have announced the artist lineup for the 2022 Twilight Concert Series.
The Twilight Concert Series has a long history of community building and engagement. This year, the series will celebrate 35 years in supporting a sense of belonging to local communities and attracting attendees from all over Utah and neighboring states. The concert series will not only support the local creative economy of musicians, but it will also contribute to the economic recovery of other industries downtown such as local restaurants, businesses, and venues that have been impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Twilight has been an integral part of Salt Lake City for 35 years now, and we can’t wait to present this incredible season. The 2022 Twilight Concert series features a lineup which is diverse, exciting, and is sure to be a season with something for everyone, contributing to the vibrancy and vitality of Salt Lake City and making it the best place to live, work, and play,” said Felicia Baca, the Executive Director for the Salt Lake City Arts Council.
The 2022 concert series will kick off on July 14th at The Gallivan Center with Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Houndmouth, and Dad Bod. Today’s initial announce includes four additional shows, including Angel Olsen, Sharon Van Etten, Julien Baker, and Spencer. on August 6th, The Decemberists and Brigid Mae Power on August 11th, Cuco on August 16th, and Shakey Graves, Sierra Ferrell, and Michelle Moonshine on September 2nd.
