Simba Sax Blends Organic World House & Disco In New Two-Sided Release, “Dawn/Dusk” [Stream/Listen]
Salt Lake City electronic multi-instrumentalist Simba Sax has released his first two-sided release, “Dawn/Dusk.”
Following his auditory mosaic of progressive house rhythms, world bass, and jazz in “Pools,” Simba Sax has continued to push the limits musically in this two-sided release. “Dawn” gently echoes in the first ray of light of the day with some piano keys before an upbeat, tropical house rhythm shakes into the track. Worldly kaleidoscopic vocals swirl over the disco house beat, making it a perfect anthem to kick start your day.
Its accompanying track, “Dusk,” immediately rushes in elements of world house with organic percussion. Simba Sax’s echoing saxophone nods halfway through add just the right musical color to the track, an ode to the setting sun. Together, “Dawn/Dusk” creates a vivid auditory landscape for the listener, inspiring them to move, dance, and feel.
