Park City Song Summit Reveals Dates & Artist Lineup For 2022 Event

Park City Song Summit has announced the dates and artist lineup for its intimate mountain music retreat.

Returning to Park City, UT September 7th-10th, Park City Song Summit hopes to redefine the live music experience through its curated artist-led discussions by day and small venue performances by night. By design, it creates an environment for musicians to share, learn, and recharge their passion for music through community and the power of song while giving fans direct access to artists — exchanging insights and illuminations via intimate panel discussions and inspiration through song. Unlike other music gatherings, Song Summit is a place to examine the struggles and breakthroughs that artists face on their creative journey.

During the day, attendees will have access to Song Summit Labs, centered artist-led discussions. This year, the Labs will take place across three stages at The Lodges at Deer Valley with featured artists Jason Isbell, Fred Armisen, Devon Gilfillian, Andrew Bird, Celisse, and more. Scroll down to see a full list of artists and moderators appearing at this year’s event.

In the evenings, Lab collaborators and additional artists Katie Pruitt, Gov’t Mule, Rising Appalachia Music, Adia Victoria, Anders Osborne, Bonny Light Horseman, Cedric Burnside, and more will set out to several Park City live music venues for hyper-intimate concerts and songwriter rounds, illustrating in real-time the behind-the-scenes magic attendees learned earlier in the day. When both Labs and performances come together, Park City Song Summit embodies what organizers like to call “A love letter to the power of the song.”

“The Song Summit was created as an immersive hangout for song lovers here in the beautiful mountains of Park City, Utah; A chance to explore and celebrate the myth, inspiration, passion, and power of song with a group of musicians, creatives, songwriters, thought leaders, and industry pioneers,” says Park City Song Summit founder, Ben Anderson. “Creating and providing funding to grow Park City Song Summit was in part my love for song but to an even larger degree, to provide awareness and resources for those who may also be challenged by trauma, addiction, and mental health issues. Our Labs are meant to be a safe space for artist and audience alike to be inspired by others who have faced these challenges and to explore the ever-relevant issues of inclusivity, opportunity, and equality.”

This year’s Park City Song Summit will feature a variety of ticket options for attendees. Summit Passes will include access to three days of 30+ Labs, entrance into evening performances, a Song Summit merch bundle, and exclusive lodging discounts. The enhanced Summit+ Pass adds an opening night four-course dinner and private performance with Jason Isbell and Adia Victoria at Blue Sky Ranch, early-entry and premium seating for all Labs, exclusive VIP area with private bar and bites for evening shows, and a personal concierge for restaurant reservations and activity recommendations. Summit Passes will go on sale May 20th. You can sign up here to be notified about Song Summit’s May on-sale, as well as additional artist and event announcements.
