ODESZA Releases Haunting Fourth Single Off Forthcoming Album, “Behind The Sun” [Watch/Listen]

Coming off their massive 27-date tour announcement and three previously released singles off their forthcoming album, ODESZA has shared their latest release, “Behind the Sun.”

Preceded by “The Last Goodbye” featuring Bettye LaVette, “Better Now” featuring MARO, and “Love Letter” with The Knocks, “Behind The Sun” marks the duo’s fourth single release from their upcoming album, The Last Goodbye. The track is the first coming off the new album that doesn’t feature a guest artist and showcases the duo’s big-room roots. The track samples a song recorded by Simin Ghanem, an Iranian classical singer from the ‘40s. Underscored by a steady tribal percussion rhythm, Ghanem’s chants radiate throughout ODESZA’s thunderous low end soundscapes. Watch the official music video below.

ODESZA will kick off their The Last Goodbye amphitheater tour on July 27th with a sold-out, three-night run at Seattle, WA’s Climate Pledge Arena, making their way to Salt Lake City, UT’s USANA Amphitheater on September 20th. The duo has announced fans can expect an “all-new set” featuring innovative visuals and the return of a drumline to their live performance shows. Sylvan Esso, San Holo, Ben Böhmer, Elderbrook, Ford., Gilligan Moss, and Nasaya will join the duo as support on tour.
