Moab Free Concert Series Reveals 2022 Lineup: Con Brio, Big Richard, More

For those of you wanting to embark to Utah’s southern offerings of music, the Moab Free Concert Series has revealed its 2022 artist lineup.

Presented by the friends of The Moab Folk Festival, the free concert series will bring a diverse selection of musicians on select Fridays to Moab’s Swanny City Park from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. Attendees will be able to enjoy four free shows throughout the summer with food vendors, beer and wine offerings, local Utah openers, and more.

Kicking off the 2022 concert series is Jeremy Garrett Bluegrass Band on June 24th. Fronted by innovative fiddle player Jeremy Garrett from the GRAMMY Award-winning band, The Infamous Stringdusters, the progressive bluegrass group will set off the series alongside supporting folk group The Family Trade. San Francisco Bay Area seven-piece Con Brio will then perform their energetic soul, psych-rock and R&B as headliners on July 8th next to local Moab trio The Nanites. Colorado funk band Los Mocochetes will then take headlining lead with their revolutionary and culturally rich music on July 29th with The Shangalu. Closing out the series will be neo-acoustic supergroup Big Richard on August 19th after an opening performance by Lizzy Plotkin and Natalie Spears.
