Kendall Street Company Announces Forthcoming EP, ‘Untitled California Project’ & Tour Dates

Burgeoning jam-alternative group Kendall Street Company has announced a forthcoming studio EP, Untitled California Project, its accompanying introduction music video, and tour dates.

Untitled California Project is a tongue-in-cheek rock opera inspired by both the culture and natural beauty of America’s golden coast. Arriving June 24th, the project heralds the band’s long-awaited inaugural visit to the West, pairing dynamic musicianship with ingenious storytelling.

“I’m so happy we’re able to share [this] story through a visionary piece on the state of California,” explained the band’s multi-instrumentalist Jake Vanaman. “The project details a journeyman’s loss of innocence and follows his epic jaunt through the heartland of America. Think of it like a musical theatre show.”

Accompanying the album announcement, the band has also released a SNL-style introduction video. Shot by director Cal Ries, the video opens with the EP’s “California #1” while showing each band member preparing to depart Virginia for an epic voyage West. Watch the video below.

Kendall Street Company’s Untitled California Tour!

In support of their forthcoming album, Kendall Street Company will set off on a ten-show run, kicking off at Denver, CO’s Cervantes’ Other Side on June 10th and Fort Collins’ 830 North on June 11th. From there, the band will headline Heber City, UT’s Market On Main on June 16th before a pair of plays in the Pacific Northwest at Seattle, WA’s High Dive on June 18th and Portland, OR’s The Dough Fir on June 19th. San Luis Obispo, CA’s Slo Brew Live will host the band’s inaugural California show on June 24th, before a pair of sets at the legendary High Sierra Music Festival on June 30th and July 1st.
