Fort Desolation Fest Announces Artist Lineup For 2022 Event: Amos Lee, Elle King, More
Fort Desolation Fest has announced the dates and artist lineup for this year’s event. Returning to Torrey, UT’s breathtaking and scenic Cougar Ridge Resort on August 12th-14th, the festival will celebrate “overlanding,” a nod to overland travel to remote destinations where the enjoyment of the journey is the ultimate goal.
Presented by The State Room, this year’s music, adventure, and travel festival will feature headlining performances from Amos Lee, Elle King, The Band Of Heathens, and Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway. Also slated for the three-day desert event includes Rayland Baxter, Heartless Bastards, Elizabeth Cook, Danielle Ponder, Marty O’ Reilly & The Old Soul Orchestra, and Jordan Matthew Young & Friends. Scroll down to see the full artist lineup.
Once onsite, attendees will bask in the desert landscape nestled right outside the famous Capitol Reef National Park for “adventures by day, music by night.” The surreal red-rock landscape will allow ample opportunities to hike, mountain bike, overland, rock climb, fly-fish, and more throughout the day before celebrating with top-tier musical performances at night.

“We created Fort Desolation Fest for overlanders, van-lifers, car campers, adventure bikers—and anyone else who enjoys music, food, and drinks in the great outdoors. We believe adventure is best shared. We love live music, we love overland adventures and we love southern Utah more than any place on earth,” said Fort Desolation founder Jeremy Rawle, co-creator of Nitro Circus.
Additionally, while the location offers a variety of off-site camping and lodging options, a limited number of attendees can camp onsite, even just a short walk from the stage. A full list of lodging options in the Torrey area can be found here.
Tickets to Fort Desolation Fest will go on sale this Friday, April 8th here. For more information, visit the festival’s website.
