What some may view as only background music, the reality is that the role of an NBA DJ is a sport all its own. With transitions requiring precise coordination and changes of the tide happening instantaneously, NBA DJs are pressured to select the right song at the right moment for the right length of time throughout the duration of the game, which can sometimes span over three hours. From joyful triumphant wins to consolation after a tough loss, the game-time DJ makes all the difference in impacting both the players and fans energy.

Each NBA team has their own house DJ, who curates the vibe throughout the stadium before, during, and after every home game. For the Utah Jazz, that person is DJ Joune.
