Deer Valley Announces Return Of 2022 Concert Series, 18th Annual Music Festival, More
Get ready Utah, the sounds of summer are coming to Deer Valley. The ski and mountain resort town has announced the return of its Deer Valley Concert Series as well as its two non-profit series, the Utah Symphony’s Deer Valley Music Festival and the Grand Valley Bank Community Concert Series.
In partnership with The State Room, the 2022 Deer Valley Concert Series will return this summer to Park City, UT’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, hosting up to 5,000 guests for a summer series of music among Utah’s mountain landscape. Past seasons’ shows have included Michael Franti, Ziggy Marley, Jenny Lewis, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Ben Harper and Trombone Shorty, Gov’t Mule, Thievery Corporation, and more. Additionally, the ski and mountain resort has announced the return for its 18th Deer Valley Music Festival. Hosting the Utah Symphony, the summer series provides chamber, classical, and pop offerings throughout several venues in Park City, including Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, St. Mary’s Church, and salon events in private homes. The 18th Deer Valley Music Festival series will kick off on July 1st with Stewart Copeland: Police Deranged for Orchestra, followed by Utah Symphony’s Patriotic Pops with LaKisha Jones on July 2nd, Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies on July 8th, The Hot Sardines featuring Nellie McKay with the Utah Symphony on July 9th, and more. VIP packages and group tickets are currently on sale, with a Summit and Wasatch countries local sale starting on March 30th. Single tickets to the general public will go on sale April 5th at 12 p.m. MT here.
Finally, the non-profit Grand Valley Bank Community Concert Series will return this 2022 summer season. Presented by Mountain Town Music, the free concert series will take place at Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater every other Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Concerts are capped at 3,500 and seating is limited to a first-come, first-served basis. This year’s series will kick off on June 22nd with Rumba Libre, followed by performances by Freida & The Feel Goodz and Talia Keys & The Love on June 29th, Dr. Bob on July 6th, Aiko on July 20th, The Wyld on August 17th, and more.
