Citizen Cope To Celebrate 20 Years With Spring 2022 Tour

After playing 20 years of his signature, soulful playing, Citizen Cope will celebrate his storied career with a Spring 2022 Anniversary Tour.

The grassroots songwriter and producer will kick off the 34-date Spring tour on April 14th at Minneapolis, MN’s Varsity Theatre and will continue making rounds throughout the United States and Canada. After co-headlining Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre alongside Trevor Hall on April 28th and 29th, Cope will head West to Salt Lake City, UT’s The Depot on April 30th. The singer will continue to tour throughout all of May and finish off with three tour dates in June, complete with a hometown headlining show at Washington, D.C.’s The Anthem on June 18th.

Additionally, Cope’s run of shows will feature a full live band and mark the first time touring with renowned DC Go-Go rhythm section – drummer Paul “Buggy’ Edwards (Back Yard), Mike “Funky Ned” Neal (Rare Essence), and keyboardist XZ, who worked on Cope’s 2019 album, Heroin and Helicopters.
