Ben Rector Headlining American Cancer Society Fundraising Event
Chart topping singer/songwriter Ben Rector will be headlining a fundraising event hosted by The American Cancer Society at The Union Event Center this coming November 10th. The ACS’s fundraising event, “The Big Gig”, is a concert benefiting the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge here in Salt Lake City, and is hosted by local entertainment company Live Nite Events. This event is focused on providing financial support to our local Hope Lodge which is celebrating 7 years of providing cost-free lodging to cancer patients traveling to Salt Lake City for treatment. Since October of 2015, the Hope Lodge has provided temporary lodging for patients and caregivers. We have provided over 58,000 nights and estimate over $9.9 million in lodging expenses saved.
Set to headline the evening is Ben Rector – Oklahoma-born, Nashville-based pop-rock singer/songwriter and producer with multiple albums that have gone No. 1 on the Billboard Americana/Folk Albums chart. With over a billion streams across all platforms, music featured in over a hundred TV shows and movies, countless sold-out shows across the nation, and collaborations with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Kenny G, this is an event SLC won’t soon forget.
Tickets to The Big Gig are on sale now HERE.

“Big Gig is a great opportunity for the community to see what is being done here locally and how we can make a greater impact on the mission and the lives of those fighting cancer. We are so thankful to our sponsors and supporters. We couldn’t do what we do without them!”
