Andy Frasco & The U.N. Release New Single, “Friends (A Song About Friends)” [Listen/Stream]

Andy Frasco & The U.N. have released a new single “Friends (A Song About Friends).” The new single release marks the band’s third single release of the year following “Love Hard” and “Dancin’ Around My Grave.”

“Friends (A Song About Friends)” shows Frasco’s meaningful lyrics reflecting on friendship and the impact it has on our everyday lives. Usually known for more raunchy, almost inappropriate themes throughout their music and live performances, the new single highlights a more serious note for the band.

Comprised of Shawn Eckels on guitar, Floyd Kellogg on bass, and Andee Avila on drums, the group lays down a punchy rhythm section to set Frasco up to sing the upbeat lyrics, “I’m your friend and you’re my friend, so let’s be friends until the end.” The result shows a nod to current and new friendships made through life’s experiences, especially through music.
