Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch Brings Dirtwire to Utah Desert

Bound by self-sufficiency, sustainability and love, Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch is a landing pad for musicians and other creative forces. The 168-acre pocket of land on the northern edge of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument operates under the husband and wife owners Ron Johnson and Brandie Hardman, who share an equal passion for the land. “It’s been seventeen incredible years of preserving wildlife habitats, bioremediation, growing food, providing education and health care and indulging in art forms,” they tell me. Acting as a safe haven for like-minded individuals, the ranch will be hosting a special three-day event highlighting Dirtwire, a music group known for their “back porch space cowboy blues, multi-instrumental twangie swampatronic psychedelic hoedown set’s”!

This epic sound-journey retreat will take place August 10th – 12th, featuring an abundance of unique offerings. Attendees will get a chance to immerse themselves in a Balinese Monkey Chant Workshop, property walks throughout the ranch, a Kakao and Fire Ceremony, a freenotes jam session, a journey retreat set and an exclusive two full set concert on Saturday night with Dirtwire. Special guest appearances include Tree of Light, Adam Sheild and Izzy White Eagle Song to name a few.

Reconnect with nature, recharge your senses, learn about holistic land preservation and management and experience Dirtwire in all their glory at this once-in-a-lifetime event!
