The National Parks To Celebrate Life, Music & Community At Utah’s Inaugural Superbloom Music Festival

Just in time for the changing season, Utah-born, indie rock quartet The National Parks will celebrate life, music, and community at their inaugural Superbloom Music Festival.

Slated for Saturday, October 9th, the all-day music and community festival will feature some of the best up-and-coming artists from both the Utah and national stage for the all-ages, family-friendly event. Named after the first track from their 2020 album Wildflower, Superbloom Music Festival is scheduled to be one of Utah’s most classic musical events of the Fall season.

Originally booked at OC Tanner Amphitheater, the band had to quickly find a new location after mass flooding resulted in immense damage to the venue.

“As we were searching for a new home for Superbloom we were able to get connected with the amazing people at Sand Hollow Resort. We were immediately drawn to the natural beauty and breathtaking landscapes,” guitarist Brady Parks said. “It’s a great venue for Superbloom with Zion National Park not too far away, Sand Hollow State Park close by and other outdoor adventures all around. We couldn’t be more excited for Superblooms new home!”

Along with a headlining set by The National Parks, the day will see rotating sets by Utah artists and musicians, including Yoke Lore, Joseph, Joshua James, Ellee Duke, Brother., and Arbour Season. The location of the festival leaves options for lodging, with several options for hotels and camping.

Amid the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19, Superbloom Music Festival will be fully outside, however, will not be enforcing masks or proof of vaccination or a negative test. Attendees are encouraged to practice good hygiene and make use of the hand sanitizer stations available and social distance where needed.

“Superbloom is a celebration of life and music under the wide open sky and we can’t wait to make a bunch of beautiful memories this year and many years to come. We hope that everyone who comes to Superbloom can leave feeling uplifted during these crazy times of life. We want it to be a reminder that life really is beautiful and so is this place where we are all living together. We hope people can feel that sense of togetherness and feel a sense of relief from all of the stresses and chaos of our lives and feel peace in the beauty of Southern Utah and happy in the moments of magic at the fest,” Parks said.

In addition to their upcoming music festival, The National Parks have announced for their new album, A Mix For The End Of The World Pt. 1. Due out just a day before Superbloom on October 8th, fans will be able to hear the band’s live performances of takes from the album at the next day event and throughout their ongoing Fall tour.
